Soap

Cold-process soap handcrafted in small batches in my Connecticut studio.  We use the highest quality, earth derived butters, clays, botanicals and essential oils to create nourishing soap for you to enjoy.

The art of cold-process soap combines plant-based oils & butters with sodium hydroxide which starts a chemical reaction called saponification which turns fats into soap.  Earth derived clays, botanicals and essential oils are added for color, texture and natural fragrance.  The mixture is then poured into soap molds for 24 hours before it is cut and placed on curing racks.  The soap then cures for 4-6 weeks which allows water to evaporate from the soap & ph levels to drop making it skin safe.
